We are have intermittent problems with database searches not displaying their results, even though it lists a number of documents found. Sometimes altering the criteria slightly (eg. using one less letter) will work. Any ideas?

Using R7 Notes client, I get the same behavior. I could not see the documents in a categorized view (log.nsf). You have to expand all categories first.

I’ve seen this occasionally, for example: on the web searching a database for “dennis” reports 70-odd hits but shows only one of them. Searching for “collins” works perfectly. Other words fail or work and I can’t see any pattern to it.
Having SearchFuzzy=TRUE or SearchFuzzy=1 in the URL seems to be the culprit. Sometimes it causes a failure sometimes not. Queries that fail on the server work when run locally (local designer preview). Does not inspire confidence! Server & client 6.0.2 on Windows 2000
