We just upgraded to 6.5.2 from 5.012.
I have a few users that insist on setting their resolution to 800 x 600. Is there anyway to get the inbox viewable area smaller without messing with the screen resolution. The user is complaining that notes 5.012 was fine and he could view the inbox fine.
Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

Try to let your user customize his Inbox by clicking View - Customize this view.
This will let him “remove” specific columns from his inbox, thus leaving more space for relevant data.
Other than that - no suggestions (besides from buying a bigger monitor :-))

Ok, I did that, great, that works.
What about the left side where all the folders are. Is the only way to reduce size is the pull over the bar. If I do this, the folder get cut off.
I think this is the way it’s designed? Right?

That is true. The new design of the inbox leaves little room for customization. If you try to increase the real estate of the inbox by reducing the left side column it will cut off folder names. This is the design and cannot be changed very much. View customization is about the only manipulation a user has as far as what data is displayed in the inbox.
