Scheduled server to server replication not taking place

Hi All ,

I have a LN database , and the reploica copies are deployed in servers at various locations. Scheduled replication has been set in Server connection doc. But sadly scheduled replication is not taking place, and document increment in the hub db is not being replicated to the spokes.

I have checked the ACL & replication settings , and all seems to be ok.

Pls help.

Thanks

Siddhartha

Hi Siddhartha,

Have you checked the log what happenns when replicating?

Besides, you can try to replicate from the console, and see the response, just typing “replicate server-name db-name”

Hi Daniel ,

The log shows “Missed Scheduled replication” …

The replication is taking palace when manually replicated thru client or server console .

The scheduled replication is not getting initiated.

Thnx

Sid

Clear the replication history on all of the DBs involved.

However, if the message is that it missed the scheduled replication it almost sounds like a connection document problem. When you try replicating from a client it uses the connection document in the local names.nsf on scheduled replication uses the connection documents in the server Names.nsf Could be an issue there.

Also has there been any changes in the IP of any of the machines because the server caches the IP addresses of known servers. I just finished a few minutes ago getting through that problem and ended up restarting the Domino server and finally it picked up the new server IP

Hi Siddharta, check the log/Replication Events. Check when the last schedules replication was supposed to take place, see what error message appears.

It is likely that one server could not see the other. make sure that there is conenctivity between the two servers

cheers
