I have a Notes server that has many business applications residing on it. Recently all of the scheduled agents in one of the most used databases have stopped running.
The last time a shceduled agent ran in this db was just before midnight. Then nothing.
There are no scheduled agents for this db in the Agent Scheduler (All other db scheduled agents are present and correct.)
Resigning the agents did not work.
Restarting the Agent Manager did not work.
Restarting the Scheduler did not work.
Replacing the db with a fresh replica did not work.
Restarting the Server did not work.
Does anyone have any more suggestions or has seen this problem before?

Do you see scheduled agent(s) when you run ‘tell amgr sche’ in server console? If not try to reschedule agent(s) (i.e. disable/enable or change type from Scheduled to ‘Run from Agent list’ and then back).

Mark,
Check the ACL of this database to make sure that the signer is allowed to run these agents. Check the db properties first tab to see if background agents have been disabled for this db. Verify that the db is a NSF file and not an NTF file (I know that’s probably silly, but just covering bases here).
Also, check the log.nsf Misc Events to see what reasons are given. Do the agents try to run? If you save one and then watch the server console, do you see error messages?
