Scanning a View - email

Hi there,

I have a question; I would like to scan a view probably using @dblookup or creating an agent. Is it possible to scan a view, look for names that have created a document in the last 3 months and email that person only ONCE (even though they are in the view several times)?

Hi Claire,

  1. Create a hidden view with ONLY documents that have been created in the last three months.

  2. In the first column put the document creator’s name

  3. Use @Unique(@DbColumn(“”;“”;ViewName;1)) to get the unique names

  4. mail to them

If you want to use LotusScript, you could use a list and populate it as MailList(username) = username as you walk the view, this would automatically overwrite duplicates.
