I’m attempting to edit the default mail template to add a fake quota indicator (basically to show file size without enforcing quotas.) I have:-found a form to do this
-added the form to a frameset
-opened the ntf in the composite application editor and added the frameset to a new component
-added the component to the left side of the page, just above the Notes Mail Navigator component
-saved the template with a new name
When I apply the template to my mailfile, the new component does not appear. When I compare the template to my db, everything is in place except that the lines in the NotesMailApps.xml file relating to the new component are missing.
This works great if I use the CAE to edit my mail file & manually add the new component, but that doesn’t work to distribute to users.
How do you save changes made to the mail template in the composite application editor?
