Save Conflict after document saved from web

Hi,

There is a document which is being saved, by the same user from different browser windows.

A lock is taken on the document, by setting a flag when the user clicks on edit button. This will prevent any other user to edit the document simultaneously.

The doc.save(false, false) is being used to save the document while taking the lock.

However, if the same user is opening two browser windows and submitting the same document, then it is getting saved with Replication Conflict. Can this be prevented so that, only the changes which the last submitted by the user is saved.

Try enabling “Merge conflicts” option in conflict handling - It is one of the form property at the first tab.

The “Merge conflits” is also enabled. But it does not work for save conflicts…In the notes help it says it works for replication conflicts.
