I have Lotus Domino 6.5.5 installed on a Windows 2003 machine. I never used Sametime before but would like to test it out I am under the understanding that we get a “Limited Use” version of Sametime, but with me running 6.5.5 of Lotus Domino what version of the “limited use” should I be installing, in Passport Advantage all I see is the 7.0 Limited use.

Sametime 7.5 (IBM’s latest and greatest) has a lot of new bells and whistles. But it must be installed on a Domino 7.0 or higher server (I used Domino 7.0.1).
Can you upgrade Domino to 7.0.1 or (just released) 7.0.2?
If so, the Sametime 7.5 part number is C90MQML

Sametime 7.5 is nice, but there’s no “limited use” version of it, so this wouldn’t be what Rex is looking for.

Dig down a bit further, you should see a Sametime 6.5.1 server. You should install this on a separate box, but this entitles you to the copy of Domino you need to run under it (works fine with 6.5.5 FP1). There was no separate Limited Use server download for 6.5.1, that is new with Sametime 7.0.
