SameTime (IM) is supposed to be incorporated in the 6.5.x line of Notes/Domino software. This means that the Notes Client already has IM in it.
Does it also mean that if I install a Domino 6.5.x server I also have IM available or do I need to install IM on top of it still?
The Domino version I am going to use is 6.5.2.
Which IM version do I need then?

The Notes client is IM-ready, not the Domino server.
You need to install Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing 6.5.1 (formerly Sametime). If you have a valid and current license for Domino/Notes you can download it from the Passport Advantage download site.
