Sametime "Missing single sign on token"

Hello,

We have recently upgraded our Domino server, and installed Sametime. Before we push this out to everyone, we want to make sure the configuration etc will be seamless.

I have configured the sametime client in my Notes client to connect to the domino server using a DNS name (eg: server1.acme.com) and even tried using Notes format (eg: Server1/acme). Obviously “use token based single sign on” is checked, and the type is “Domino Single Sign On”.

No matter what I do (aside from manually re-entering my password) I get the error “Missing single sign on token”.

I have had a look on various forums and the help with out success. Done several changes on the server to the LtpaToken configuration. (The domain is set to eg: .acme.com).

Any advice on where to look, or how to debug SSO tokens would be very much appreciated.

PS: We have upgraded from domino 7.0.3 before installing sametime.

Figured it out. Stupid error.

The host name of the Domino server was set to an intranet domain name, where as everything else was set to a real world domain name. Including the SSO config, as well as the Host Name under Internet Protocols > HTTP.

When I set the Domino Server host name under Basics > Server Name to the real world host name and restarted the server everything started working.
