Sametime integration with Asterisk PBX?

Hi.

A customer has asked about chances to integrate Sametime 12.0.2 with Asterisk PBX.

I haven't searched much, but it seems to me that it may fit in the "Enabling meeting dial-out" configuration:

Does it make sense? (just to be sure I'm not looking in the wrong place)

Any previous experience or what to take into account in such configurations? (aside from what is already said in the product documentation).

Sametime 12+ releases have telephony integration made possible with integration of the iLink TeamCall Meeting Gateway (TMG). iLink is one of our HCL Business Partners. You can read about the product here: https://ilink.de/tmg/index.html

We use this product internally and I'm the one who set it up and administers the system if you have any questions. With the iLink TMG software you can use a SIP compatible PBX (likely Asteriks PBX would be fine) or you can use a telephony carrier service.
