Sametime in Notes

I have been told many times that we can use Sametime in our Domino infrastructure without any additional licensing costs. My problem is, that I can’t find any documentation on how to set this up from beginning to end. All I want is a very basic setup.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for this.

Subject: Yes, you can

You can use the IM embedded into the Notes client. Just install the Sametime server and then your Notes 6.5 or higher clients can use it.

You can NOT use the Connect client (dedicated Sametime chat client) or the meeting room functionality.
