Russian language in MacOS

Strange thing…Every application works with cyrillic chars on my mac, and only Notes can’t.

I can save russian text in Notes DB, but text can’t be read by Notes client on Windows

and viceversa.

Doc created on Mac looks this way on Win32:

I’m new to MacOs.

Maybe I need to do some changes in Notes client install?

(remember *.cls substitution for notes 4.x)

Any help from Mac users is appreciated

Hi Andrey,

We’ve submitted that problem to the Lotus developers and are waiting for their feedback on the issue.

So far, we haven’t found any possible workaround.

I let you know once I have more info.

This issue is targeted to be fixed in 6.5.3 release due later on this year, according to Lotus Labs.

Andrey,They’ve postponed the fix to include it in the 6.5.4 release. Due in Feb '05.
