If I create a rule that says “when sender contains Smith send full copy to ” it works.
If I create the same rule but add another sender condition, so “when sender contains Smith and when sender contains Jones, send full copy to ” it DOES NOT work.
So one sender condition is fine. More than that is not. Is this a bug that anyone is aware of?
You are talking about the sender. Normally a mail only has one sender so I’m not sure what you are trying to achieve here. If you are trying to catch someone who is called Smith & Jones it can be done in one line of course?
Or do you want a copy of the mail being send if it’s either Smith OR Jones that sends a mail?
I’m trying to tell a rule to forward a copy of a mail to another database if the sender contains… and then I have a list of about 50 domains.
This didn’t work so I went back to basics and set up a new rule that did the same thing if sender contained my name AND if sender contained a colleague’s name. This doesn’t work either.
It seems a rule will only work if one sender is entered and you have to set up a seperate rule for each which defeats the point of having the AND/OR feature doesn’t it?
