Hi, everyone.
In a view I’d like to have a button that when clicked on, displays the content of a rich text field in a “dialog box” (similar to @Prompt([ok], “RTF”, rtf content) of the selected doc.
How can I accomplish that?
TIA.

If you are going to be doing this for one field, or one set of fields, you can use a dialog form that has those fields on it and display it using
@DialogBox(“dialogformname”; true:true:false:true:true:false:false:true;“Contents of the RTF Field”)
or with the notesuiworkspace.dialogbox method. Just add the rich text field to the dialog form (computed or editable on the dialog form, depending on what you want to do with the data once there). Look into the help for the function and/or formula for display options such as readonly, showing the buttons at the bottom, etc. This will work as a button/action on the form or as a view action.

If it is text only, you can use @Text to get the RichText content. If it really is RichText content, I know of no way to get a RichText field to work properly in a dialogbox.
