Router: Unable to open mailbox file XXXX/yyy/ZZZZZZZ mail.box: Unable to find path to server

HelloI’ve installed a new Domino Server as additional in our domain. This server doesn’t have smtp config, so it’s getting the external mails from another server in the domain. The users in that server can not receive external internet e-mails but they can send succesfuly, they can receive and send internal mails as well. Only problem receiving external mails. When I try to send an e-mail from out of the company , then I’m receiving the following error message;

Router: Unable to open mailbox file XXXX/yyy/ZZZZZZZ mail.box: Unable to find path to server.

I’ve checked the connection documents between the main hub server (which routes the external e-mails with smtp) and my new server, everything seem ok.

This is very very urgent. Does anyone have any idea about that problem?

have you double checked all the spelling and information on the connection docs to and from your server? If you have checked all this…take a look at the DOmino Name Network for the new server. Is it the same? DIfferent? Entries in this field are case sensitive.

Have you reloaded your routing tables?

tell router update config

If all else fails (and i have seen this) try to recreate the connection docs…restart the router and see what happens.
