Well one, anyway. I have a number of users who just stated seeing this error when trying to send email. A review of misc events in the log showed the following error:
01/24/2007 08:42:49 AM ATTEMPT TO ACCESS DATABASE SomeDb.nsf by Some User/Domain was denied
The SomeDb turns out to be a custom NAB we used to use for client contact data. The db is out of date and was taken off line about a week ago.
All of these users had set this db to be one of their personal address books. When trying to send mail, they were denied access to the SomeDb and the ‘not authorized’ error was generated.
Had them clean out their settings (actually had them run a bit of code that set their Notes.ini file to use the line ‘Names=Names.nsf’) and all was well.
