We have recently upgraded 100+ users from Notes R4.67 to R6.5, using the Multi-User workstation feature and Roaming Users. For the most part it’s working fine, but I continue to have users that randomly get the Configuration screen again.
For example, the primary user of one pc is using Notes with no problem. She logs off the network, and some one else uses this pc (and Notes). Later in the day, the primary user again logs onto this same pc, starts Notes, and get the configuration screen! This does not happen every time, just occasionally. I have gone through the Configuration screens for some users multiple times on the same pc. For others, it seems to ‘stick’ after the 2nd time.
Most if not all pcs are running XP. I have reported this to IBM support, with no resolution. I am wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this problem, and has a solution. Thanks, Russ
