At the time we installed Notes 8.0 the roaming user was not supported in standard client but only in basic install.
I wonder whether this improvement is now available and Notes 8.5 is fully roaming, including desktop along with all the features and settings of the Productivity Tools (aka Lotus Symphony).
I wish I could get rid of Office XP but I would not like to face some client problem and then hear the song “it works as designed”
