The Feature “Return Receipt” for SMTP Messages will on my server not working after the Migration from Domino 5.0.3 to 6.5.1.
This setting from R5 are after the migration also active on R6.5.1:

first pls try to trace the problem. Does a return receipt get composed and sent when the user opens the mail? Check at the workstation. You should see a message in the status line as soon as the return receipt gets sent.
Check local and server mail.boxes for any documents not routing properly - possibly the missing RR’s.
Then, check a single mail you know was sent with an RR BEFORE opening it in the UI. Highlight the mail in the view, click right and choose “Document Properties”. Check the content of the field ReturnReceipt.
If these infos don’t give you a hint, post the results here and someone may be able to give you some more assistance.
Just one add-on: I’m running multiple 6.5.1 servers with a whole bunch of different clients, and definitely can confirm that 6.5.1 sends RRs - so it’s probably not a “general” bug.
