Restore deleted reservations

Recently a user decided to go into our Resource database and delete most of our old reservations. I have been able to find a backup copy on one of our backup tapes that I can restore from. However what I was hoping to do was restore the backup copy to my local pc and then replicate the deleted reservations back up to the server copy. Sounds simple enough except that the server copy is not accepting the deleted reservations. Under replication history no documents get added and none of the entries show up in the server copy. I tried modifying the ACL to give the Default entry Manager access but that did not work either. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Is it even possible???

Subject: Your problem is that the deletions stubs are still in the Resource Reservations db…

So that when you try to replicate them, it ignores them as they are there and deleted. You might be able to do this by going to the Replication settings on the Server database, select Space Savers and change the 90 to 0. Select OK and hopefully the Deletion stubs will be deleted. Go back in and change it back to the default 90. Clear the replication history for both the server and your local database. Replicate again and you might get lucky.

Bill,

Thank you very much for your response. Your idea was right on and worked to perfection. Thanks Again!!!
