Response doc problem

Hi there, i’m new to Lotus Domino(only 3 days) and I’ve got a problem with response docs.

I need to save data about people: name, surname, age + languages which people speeks(might be many languages). As far as I know I need to make 2 forms: GeneralForm(name, surname) and ResponseForm(language).

To create a new language I use this code <@Command([ComposeWithReference]; “”; “ResponseForm”; 1)>.

I need all languages of current person to be seen in GeneralForm as a Embedded View - but I don’t know how to make a valid view selection, I’ve tried <SELECT Form = “ResponseForm” & @IsResponseDoc> but it doesn’t work.

I know that it’s very simple, but I’ve been working on that whole day and still didn’t get it, please help.

Does it have to be an embedded view? You could use a dialog list data-type and option the field for multiple values. To populate the keywords select the second tab of field properties. Would be easier. If you want to create a view of responses check the view properties and make sure “Show response documents in hierarchy” is unchecked. That should display your ResponseForm document. Review the help documents (“Programming over view and user interface”). Also… google online tutorials for notes… maybe helpful place to start. Good luck…
