Resource Reservations in Mixed Environment

We have several Domino R5 servers going to 6.51 in the next week or so. The Notes clients are 4.6x.

Is there any reason not to update the Resource Reservation to 6.51 while clients are 4.6x?

What’s best? Leaving Resources at 4.6 and waiting until all clients are at 6.51 with the servers?

And if we go ahead and move the resource reservations up to 6.51 while clients are 4.6x, what are the issues?
