I have an urgent problem in that rooms booked directly in the resource database are allowed to be overwriten by any subsequent bookings made in the calendar or directly in the database.
If the room is booked via the calendar then this works fine but ones created directly can be double booked by the calendar or directly.
I have tired deleting the busytime.nsf, flushing and restarting the processes which then makes the direct bookings ‘correct’ in that they cannot then be double booked.
It is almost as though there is something not going from the resource database to firmly booking the room as it is doing successfully in the calendar.
Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
Edited: I also noticed when I go into ‘Sites’ it says that I must set an administration server. However, this is already set in the ACL. Any ideas??
Unfortunately, I have tried deleting the busytime and restarting the server tasks and it appears that the known bug is exactly what I am experiencing.
I think this has something to do with my Site Profile not being able to recognise what I have in place as my Administration Server in the ACL. Does anyone know how to get around this?
Finally, if all else fails… How can I find out the progress on the bug reported?
