Resource Reservation - illegal characters

Hi everybody,

after an upgrade 6.5->8.0.1 we get these warnings in the server log:

RnRMgr: WARNING: The room/resource named ‘G-4-OG (20 Pl.)/St. Gallen HS’ contains illegal characters. The only valid characters are letters, numbers, ampersand, apostrophe, hyphen, period, space, and underscore.

If found a technote:

which says that this is a dom7 issue and is fixed in 8.0.

So … it looks as if the brackets cause these warning - but should/can we ignore these warnings? Or do we have to change all those names?

sorry michelle for my english - so I try again:

We do have al lot of rooms with “illegal” characters.

We got all those warnings in the server log.

Are these warnings to only “bug”, or is sth else not working in the reservation db?

Must we check sth. - or change sth.?
