Hi Everyone, Actually one of our customers is in the process of moving to Domino and Notes 6.5.2 from the present setup Release 5.0.10 .Present OS is Win Nt 4 .There is one Primary Domino mail server and 2 Additional server all on Win Nt 4 Domain controller.Primary Domino server is connected to a MS Exchange server 5 which inturn connects to the internet via interscan ,firewall.There is also a pass thru server which is being accessed by the iNotes users .Mail databases are replicated to the passthru as and when required.
Customer require a fresh installation of all 3 Domino 6.5.2 on windows 2k server and migration of the address books from 5.0.10 to 6.5.2 ,upgradation of mail and address boos,removal of the MS exchange server and route the mail thru the Domino Server and a relay server.
The customer being now under a different owner
wants a change in Notes Domain and internet domain names.They also require that the old settings to be present with seamless upgradation and minimm downtime.Also they require that mails to username@olddomain.com to be automatically routed to username@newdomain .com during the transition phase so that mails are not lost.
Being a newcomer in Domino I am facing a daunting task to carry this whole process so kindly tell me how do I proceed in this project.
