I have inherited an interesting problem where an organization has created a modified mail template for their users. They took the R6 mail template, added changes, and that’s what their users’ mail templates inherit from.
Unfortunately, there is little documentation of how their modified mail template differs from the original. Also, the modified mail template does not inherit from the original and has been resigned a few times, so there is no way to glance and see what design elements have been changed.
I need a tool to compare the original mail template with this modified template and determine exactly what code changes have taken place. Does anyone have any suggestions? Caveat: cost must equal $0.00.
I thought of trying to export both templates as DXL and compare the outputs, but something in the mail template causes the red box of death when I try and export to DXL.
