I have a user we have recently upgraded from v.7 basic to v.8.5 standard. This obviously also involved an update to the mail file design as well as the client.
Since the upgrade the user reports that when he replies to an email the CC field is populated with his email address and he receives an unwanted copy of the sent mail in his inbox again. Can anyone offer any suggestions to rectify this?

Could you provide a sample database with the data for us to look at or at least send us the document properties showing the values in the From, SendTo and CopyTo items/fields. Also, is the alternate name feature being used? If it is please provide the AltFrom, AltSendTo, and AltCopyTo items.
In cases like this, the cause is usually that the senders name does not match any names in the From, SendTo, or CopyTo items because it is in a different format (internet address that does match location or public address book) or buried in a group.
