Hi,I have a user who clicks on the “Reply” button to compose a reply to an email then clicks on send. Once this is done the original email he replied to is then gone from his inbox - although it is present in the “sent” folder. I have checked that “View Unread Only” is not selected. Any thoughts?

Hi.At first, it is always a good idea to check the mail rules. Since there is no nonsense check for click-building rules, this might be a good point. (In some cases, still active mail rules are not shown in the client).
And if that is checked, it is a good idea to completely rebuild any view index for that mailbox.

Subject: Check the column sorting
Check that they haven’t sorted by the replied/forwareded Icons. I have had people accidentally click that so when they reply it shoots to the top of the view out of sight.
Clicking the date column header should fix the sorting
