This problem occurs repeatedly with different remote users. The only common factors are that the users are on laptops and the replication stops at 63%… It seems utterly random beyond that. The users are unable to receive e-mail. My guess is that replication completes everything else but receiving mail, hence the 63%. Can anyone verify that?

If this is too basic of a suggestion, please dont take offense…sometimes users haven’t thought of the obvious things to check first.
Take one of the users having the problem. See if they can manually replicate just their email (turn off scheduled replication first). If they can’t, look at their server replicas and look in a view that sorts memos by size. I would be there is a humongous email sitting out there just hanging everybody up.

I’ve seen this repeatedly with remote users over a VPN connection. Usually it is an issue with their MTU settings.
In our specific case, the Cisco Systems VPN Client has some of the connections set at Default. In our case, the setting needed to be 1300 specifically for all the Network Adapters.
Hope this helps!
