I am stuck in a problem and just cannot get out of it.
I am retriving a document from my archive DB to my main DB. The document is retrived from the Archive properly but when i Save & Submit the Doc in the main DB it creates a Replication or Save Conflict. The Authors field in both the documents (Main & the conflict) is same.
teh code perfoms the following things:
Copies the document from Archive DB to Main DB.
Opens the Saved doc in the Main DB for editing.
After the user dose the changes he can Save as Draft or Submit the document.
Any help suggestion will be of immencly appriciated.

I disagree with Bizhan – I doubt there is a scheduled agent involved. That is possible, but it’s more likely your code is interfering with itself by doing both back-end and front-end saves (NotesUIDocument.Save or Ctrl+S, and also NotesDocument.Save). If you don’t see where this is happening, you should post your code, including event code in the form.
Subject: Replication or Save Conflict when doc is Submitted
Hi Atul
It sounds like while the doc is open in edit mode the archive agent or probably some other agent is ‘touching’ it.
This can heppen if you have have an agent that runs when new documents arrive in the DB. Sometimes even if the other agent doesn’t do anything to the document it will set the “unprocessed” flag on the backend document. That is enough to create the save conflict.
Try not changing the doc and just closing it and see if you still get the conflict (which you shouldn’t).
Then wait say 30 minutes (to allow the other agent to complete. They don’t run all that often due to a server setting) and then open the doc and make the changes and save. If there is no conflict then you know where the problem is.
Anyther way is to disable all triggered agents when new doc arrives (temporarily) and then restore a doic and see what happens.
