Hello! A user had a folder with a slash in the name. She renamed the folder to a name without a slash and poof! No documents. Of course the docs are locatable in All Docs, but they have lost their trail of breadcrumbs. We renamed the folder back, but alas, no docs. If Notes is going to screw up the rename it shouldn’t let you put the / in the folder name to begin with…
Subject: I’m sure I’m doing something wrong; however…
If I change the name of the view, all documents that were located in the view are still there. And if I rename (and use the “/”) it again, the documents are still there? Must be doing something wrong.
Subject: Rename Folder - Bad Result when Original name Contains a Slash
Hmmm…I’m wondering if you just change the name, would you get the same results? If so, the “/” has no bearing on it.
Got to test it!!
