We are in the process of rolling out Notes 8.0.2 (from 6.5). We haven’t yet done any N8 development. I’m customising the mail8 template on a test server & trying to remove all the sametime Chat actions & icons as we are not installing Sametime. My problem is that I can’t remove the Chat icon from the top action bar. Mail8 launches the MailFS frameset which contains the InteriorMailFS & Mail View Frame frameset - which contains the ($Inbox) folder. I’ve successfully removed the chat actions from these elements and the chat icon does not appear when the ($Inbox) folder is viewed in Designer - but it still appears when viewed in the Client. Where am I going wrong? How do I remove the Chat icon?
