In the view search bar there is the text “Search in View ‘’”
This is bad, because often views have names like “Companies\all by date” or “Contacts - 1” or “Cases\public” - this are all kind of names which are not for Samantha and tends to frighten her.
And in most applications there is a navigation somewhere, and the navigational item which leads to the view often has a different name than the “internal” view name.
In fact there is no point in showing the view name here at all. The user IS in the view, he KNOWS where he is. I don’t need to tell him again.
So my request: get rid of the viewname at this place, change the text to “Search this view”, without any view name.
