Registering new users in a seperate address book

Hi

I’m hoping you can help me as I’m new to notes and I’ve been given the task of rolling out a new server to a company we have just taken over. They are currently on outlook but will be converting to notes. What I to do is register their new server here but when I create there users I want them to be in a seperate address book to our users. Is this possible?

Yes this is possible. You can make use of Directory Assistance Database. Is it notes client or web based application? if its client, see the Admin help for "Directory assistance and client authentication "

if its web, see “Name-and-password authentication for Internet/intranet clients”

In Directory assistance db, you hust need to give the DB Link of the Secondary addreddbook replica.
