why show this error when I register person"FAILED:Error parsing notes or LDAP Distinguished Name"
I search names.nsf hav’t same person name.
administrator client：ND 8.5.2 eng
domino server：ND 8.5.2 eng

Are you in the process of registering a new user? From your post it appears that you are saying that this name is a NEW name, and doesn’t already exist in the Directory (names.nsf). What is your configuration on your server? It may help to turn up debug_namelookup=2 on your Administration server to see if registration is finding a duplicate name somewhere.
