Refresh view after making changes in designer

Hi All,

Recently we have installed Lotus Notes 8.0.1 server and in lotus notes designer 8.0.1 after making changes in view if we view it in client 8.0.1 it is not showing changes made, In order to reflect these changes it takes long time or if we close designer and again open database then it will take effect.

Is this problem in lotus notes 8.0.1 or some setting are missing from us.

Hello Andre,

We experienced the same issue recently after the upgrade. There are times that Shift+f9 does not work at all. Sometimes we resolved to creating a new copy of the views which displays the changes instantly but not advisable because fields with dblookups will not be displaying any results.

Any reason why the views are behaving this way? Is it a cache issue?

and now after some time it works automatically also.
