RedirectTo names.nsf when user inputs wrong password and autocomplete

Hi,

I’m hoping someone will be able to help with a problem. I am testing SSO at the moment. Whilst everything seems to work fine, there is a problem when a user enters an incorrect password.

The user inputs the wrong password and selects to autosave the password. They are returned to the login box and prompted to try again. The user enters the right password and opts to save it, but the url has changed to the names.nsf. This means that when the user tries to login to the original site again, the login box autocompletes with the original incorrect password.

I have searched the forum and the web for any help on this and drawn a blank. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You could always turn auto complete off by going into the design of theb login form and changing the field properties?

Something like -

Otherwise, when the users enter the new password they are prompted to save it.

Hi,

Thanks for the post Andrew. I would love to turn autocomplete off as I don’t think it should be used anyway, but unfortunately I can’t. I tried the same thing on this forum with the same results so perhaps it is something that just has no fix.
