Hello, My question is there are 2 person A,B, they use the same email ccount “front desk”, once A opened the email (new–red) on A’s PC, the email changed color to black. they want when B open the
“front desk” email, all emails are black as A opened them alread. Now, on B’s PC, still showed new emails (red)
Is there any way to set up with it?
Thanks,
Linda

When A reads a document, this does not affect how B sees it. What you can do, is set up a folder system of “process”, “needs processing”, etc.

Hi Alan, If possible, would you please give me more details about how to set up a folder system of “process”, “needs processing”?
Thanks a lot!

Something like setup a flag when user A opened an email, let’s say appenditem “Process” to email, then this email will go to “Process” folder, so user B will know this email has been viewed by user A.The Unread property of mail template does not rely on per person.

I see. thanks,Linda
Subject: Create folders
I’ve seen many customers use a system as simple as setting up two folder in the shared mail database. One called “Processed” the other “Needs Attention”. So when A looks an email, if they answer it/solve the problem, they file it in “Processed”. If they can’t “action it” themselves, they place it in “Needs Attention”.
Make sense?
