I am new to lotus notes and I recertified a user today but their id was expired on 11/23. When I go into domino admin, I go to configuration tab and open up the certificates. I then go to the certificate expiration and this user is under the “expires after more than 120 days” category. But when I go to the configuration tab, expand tools, and then go into the id properties, I look at the users id properties and it shows that the user is still expired. Why does it show that the user is still expired (11/23/07) but when I look at the certificate expiration it shows that the user has been recertified?
How do I go about getting this user recertified because they keep getting the error message “One or more certificates in your Notes ID have expired. Contact your Domino administrator” when they log onto notes. Also, when I try connecting to the server on this users account I get the error message “Server Error: Your certificate has expired”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since I don’t know much about notes.
