I have an automatic routine to send a memo (my own form) to different groups in our organisation (ref: the code below).
With message
.Form = frm
.~_ViewIcon = Visual
.SendTo = Split(usr, “,”)
.Subject = sbj
.Principal = “Quality System”
Call .Send(True)
End With
I want to extend my application to give me a receipt when they are opening this message. Since I don’t use any of the “standard” forms in Notes, I wonder how I can do this myself.
I hope anyone out there can give me a hint.
Thanks.
Subject: Receipt in my own form/code
.ReturnReceipt = 1
should do it (or maybe thats .ReturnReceipt=“1”)
You can look in the designerhelp index for ReturnReciept

Thanks, but even if the help file gives suggestions like that the editor not have this option.
When I try to create the code:
With message.ReturnReceipt…
the editor only have 8 different options and the ReturnReceipt is not among them.

If what u mean by the editor is the notes designer then u should care too much. What the designer shows u are properties and methos and what u want to create is a field.
just add the .ReturnReciept=1 (by typing it) and try it out.

Hello again.
I have now tested this code without any luck. The log also shows that no receipt message is sent.
Does anyone else have any suggestions ??
