We are planning to set a READ ONLY access to personal address book of all users, so they will be forced to use a shared address book located in the domino server.
Is this possible? How to I do this?
We have tried setting a user’s local names.nsf ACL to READER, but same the user can still update his/her local PAB.

Hi Kate,
The local address book holds connection documents, location documents, and more. Users must be able to write to this database eg: to change their home server details when their mail file is moved.
What is it you are trying to acheive with this? If it is just to stop users from creating local contacts and groups, perhaps remove those forms from the local address books and templates, then the user will be unable to create those documents.
