Re-Sync Contacts Without Duplicates (NAB to Mail File)

Hi - I’m trying to re-sync all of a user’s contacts with the mail file (all the while insuring no duplicates).

Since we don’t already use the mail file for contact management, we’re going to just delete everything from the ($Contacts) view first. This is what I’d really like to do but don’t have a clue on how to write an agent that does it.

  1. Within the mail file ($Contacts) view, delete everything.

  2. Turn on the preference to sync local contacts via the replicator.

  3. Within the local NAB, cut & paste all docs (so they are new again). (I’m not 100% sure this step is required but our manual testing works like a champ with this method).

  4. Force replication (this step I can do manually if needed).
