I have followed many thread in this forum regarding Smart Upgrade Kits. Many helpful comments and pointers.
We are about to upgrade from R6.0.1 to R6.5.1 and I wanted to double check that I am using the correct file. Could someone please confirm.
The file I downloaded is: c55dxna.exe
(1) Is it correct to place this file on a shared server then point to it in the kit document?
(2) Does it need to be renamed to setup.exe?
(3) Are the arguments setup /s /v"/qb+" working for others?
(4) In a tech note the arguments look exactly as above (ie: with the double quotes) yet in postings in this form the syntax is without the quotes… could someone please confirm which is correct?
Thank you very much in advance, I can see the smart upgrade issues have been extensively discussed and at times it is hard to figure out from postings what the final best practice was found to be. So I am hoping to draw on your experiences in order to avoid the many potential caveats.
