I had R6.0 installed and upgraded my clients to 6.5. I had close to 1500 fonts installed. After upgrading, the desktop and menu fonts were all messed up/super-sized. I tried changing some text on a form and the font listing was all garbled. Looked like a memory dump or something with all kinds of extended ascii characters. I had to delete a bunch of fonts from the \WINNT\Fonts directory and once I got the list of fonts under 1024, everything returned to normal. Anyone else have this problem and find a workaround???

Hi. I have the same problem but i have Notes 6.5.3 installed. What is the exact version that works fine? 6.0.0 or other?
Thanks.

I think Adobe Type Manager helps reducing the number of Windows Fonts. Over 1024 fonts in Windows sure slows things down, and apparently also makes some programs fail.
This article says basically the same:

Ok. I’ve read the article but do you know if any version of Notes 6 works with more than 1024 fonts. This problem happens only in Notes client.
Thanks,

This version becomes available only at March 2005 and it corrects the problem with the red box panic, but i don’t know if it corrects the problem of disformated fonts when windows have more than 1000 fonts in it folder… Do you know that?
Thanks.
