I have just upgraded my R5.12 server to R6.5.3 which went pretty smoothly, but now I want to upgrade 150 clients using the Upgrade by Mail option. This in theory sounds great but I keep getting the same error from the client when I try: “unable to locate program”.
I have loaded the client installation software onto a general share drive on the file server that all users can access, I have put the drive mapping into the upgrade document in several different formats including driveletter:\Folder\ and \Folder. I have renamed the installation file setup.exe. I have loaded the completed exe file from the Lotus downloads page and also tried it by extracting the files from the installation package.
Please help, does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? I would really like to get this function working as I have 600 users to upgrade.
