Is it possible to query busytime with the Busytime Web Service?
I found reference to the Web Service in this SPR:
I have a web-based Domino app I would like to use to show scheduling data.
If I can access busytime.nsf directly with LotusScript or Java that would work too.
Any suggestions??

According to http://www-12.lotus.com/ldd/doc/uafiles.nsf/docs/rn701/$File/rn701.pdf , any authenticated web client can make a query to Busytime Web Service. Same information is available in Using This Database of the Web Service database.
You can not get much info from busytime.nsf using regular lookups, you must use session.FreeTimeSearch functiuon for that.
If you have access, you can make a lookup directly to the person’s (or resource) calendar and return times and subjects of booked meetings. Check that your company allows opening others calendars.
Some time during the next 1-2 weeks I am planning to take a look at the Busytime Web Service and create a couple of examples of using it from Domino and other applications. Actually the provided Web Service is just an example of how it can be done, you can modify it as you wish to use your own parameters.

Do you have any new information about this Busytime Web Service. I need to information if the user is free or busy. One way is the use user calendar information and then check if user is free or not, but is there any easier way?
I cant use session.FreeTimeSearch because I use Java.
