Ok heres the problem. The query save on my event does some e-mail routing based on certain conditions. I also have some Input validtions formulas in certain fields.Currently using R6 of notes.
I want the Input field validation formulas to kick in and stop processing my document when an input error occurs. Right now the query save is kicking off first.
What is happening is when I hit the Save button, the query save kicks off the email BEFORE the input validation kicks in. So it basically sent out a doc link to a document that has not even been saved yet.

From my experience, in order to have the validation happen before the save, you will need to code the validation in the QuerySave script and if it does not pass the validation, set continue = False so that the e-mail is not generated. I do not know of any other way to have the input validation run before the querySave event.

And, of course, you can always code things (like sending emails) that should happen only after a successful save in the PostSave event…
