Hi,
i experience a funny problem … it appeared so-to-say over night ( after a servercrash ) … a user is sending a mail to various people ( inside and outside the domain ) and to a Server-Group called ABCTEST … ABCTEST has 4 internal members and is mail-only and has valid internet-mail-address set … we also use exim-MTA as smarthost, also because not every User uses Windows here … our server is 5.0.8(linux) … clients mostly 6.0.2(windows) … now the mail goes outside our domain , leaving interresting headers:
To: “ABCTEST%TTTECH@vie.at.tttech.ttt” ABCTEST%TTTECH@vie.at.tttech.ttt
instead of the set internet-address ‘abctest@tttech.com’ ![]()
where vie.at.tttech.ttt is our internal domain structure for the HQ and is only known to the smarthost … now our lazy users ‘reply-to-all’ and this should be good normally , but not with this malformed mailheader …
it is definitly no EXIM -Problem …
… the mail is sent through the domino server not directly to the internet … so how can i avoid this this … ? does anyone knows … thanks for reply … regs
