Prompted for password over and over after changing ID password

I’m constantly being prompted for my Notes password event though it’s set to sync with my Windows password. This started after I changed my Notes password and Notes then updated my Windows password. I’ve seen this before and resolved it by resetting my client.

Has anyone experience this behavior before?

My clients are set up as follows.

Three PCs, two running Windows XP and one running Vista.

Roaming User Profile with the ID attached to my address book.

One of the XP machines and the Vista PC are set to synchronize my Windows password with my Notes password.

All machines are running 8.0.2 but I’ve had this problem in 8.0 and 8.0.1.

Any information would be great.

The passwords match - AD and Lotus and the box is checked in preferences - and yes I have rebooted…

I have seen this issue. Make sure the Lotus Single signon service is set to “automatic” on the pc. I have seen XP and Vista machines where the service is set to “manual” and this causes you to be prompted for password, even if they match. I have also seen where the service wasnt even listed, and I got around that by reinstalling the Notes client. (Seen this with 8.0.2 and 8.5)
